Geoff Blumer grew up in Pennsylvania Dutch country, notable for its rolling landscapes and Amish craftsmanship. Perhaps it was this early exposure to form and function that led him to a career in graphic arts.

Geoff came to GLS in January 2004 with a well-rounded background in printing and direct mail. His credentials include over 20 years of industry experience, a technical degree in Commercial Art and thorough knowledge of printing equipment.

What brought Geoff to GLS? “There is such diversity of capabilities here,” he says, “and the company is focused on helping customers.” Geoff especially enjoys working on business-to-business direct mail projects. He likes how businesses communicate with each other, which is an entirely different approach than direct-to-consumer marketing. For example, high-tech clients might target a very specific audience of IT managers with a sophisticated, substantive message about software benefits. GLS can help them do that.

In his free time, Geoff and his wife Kathie stay busy golfing and boating on the St. Croix River or relaxing at home in Maple Grove.
